Manufacturing Process:

Helical Filament Winding:

This process manufactures fiberglass pipe in discrete lengths ( usually 12m ) on a rotating mandrel. By adjusting the relative speeds of mandrel rotation and glass distribution head movement, helical reinforced pipe is formed. Pipe properties can also be changed by adjusting the proportions of materials which can include high purity silica sand.

The Salient features of this process are :

	Bell and Spigot / Butt Strap Joint
	Bell and Spigot ends monolithic with pipe wall
	By changing the winding angle different axial and hoop characteristics can be obtained In any case axial strength higher than pipes obtained with other processes

	Diameter Range : 150 mm to 4000 mm
	Pressure Class Range : 3 bar to 20 bar
	Stiffness Class Range : 650 N/m2 to 10000 N/m2
